GREAT NEWS!
Angel Tree Ministries has partnered with CANGRANDS to cover 100% of all $250.00 charge for our Blaze campers ($10,066.68) as well as 100% of all $250.00 charge for New Port campers ($9756.45)
However due to cut backs and a drop offs of donations Angel Tree Ministries can only sponsor our food costs for the grandparents and children under age 7 ($21066.98)
Therefore there will be a registration fee of $190.00 per adult attending. This fee is still a far cry from the $250.00 we used to pay per adult and $200.00 we paid for the children before we were blessed with Angel Tree's sponsorship so be happy ! Where else can you go away for a week and have several awesome workshops, a wagon ride, 'grand' company plus all your meals cooks for that price .
If you have a camp spot reserved then you will be mailed your application out before May 1st.
All registrations will come directly to CANGRANDS and MUST be completely filled out . To request your application forms email grandma@cangrands.com or or call Betty at:613-474-0035.
PLEASE NOTE: Included in your camp fee is a non-refundable deposit of $75.00 per family. You may cancel no later than June 15th, 2010 to receive the balance of your registration fee back.
If you have a spot saved however can now not attend due to the fee please let me know as someone else could use that spot.
To hold your camp spot - send the name and birth dates of all attending camp with a $75.00 non returnable per family deposit to:

- CANGRANDS The Blaze: Ages 7-10 - Cost covered by Prison Ministry

These children will be looked after by our CANGRANDS volunteers during our workshops times only. Laura is back with us for the third year and the children love her! They will be doing a daily craft, having stories time and learning a song to sing to us as well as having fun play times.
Accommodations - Lodge - Conference Centre
All food is provided with our scheduled meals at 8:30 a.m. 12:30 and 5:30 p.m. No cooking, dishes or childcare to worry about this year!
Accommodations have taken a huge leap forward as we booked a limited number of rooms - most have two twin beds plus a one cot if needed. Each room has it's own 3 pc bathroom!
As well CANGRANDS booked Cedar Lodge which is a self contained dormitory style building 15 rooms that can sleep 30 people. (each wing has a shared washroom facility). Cedar Lodge has a common lounge which will serve for our volunteers and a few of the single grandmas.
In the Conference Centre we will be using two of the lower level meeting rooms. Sadly there is no kitchen, however we are very lucky as the Salvation Army is going to allow us to bring our own snacks and serve coffee and tea. Therefore we ask each person to bring their own cup and plate which you will take it back to your own room to wash each night. This room does have a piano so those of you who are talented bring along sheet music or your favorite musical instruments.
The dining room features a beautiful view of the lake, open cathedral ceiling.
The lounge is a designated common area which means we share it. However it will be a lovely place to socialize with it's panoramic view of the lake and open cathedral ceiling and natural stone fireplace. Wireless internet is also available there.
CANGRANDS booked the Fireside Chapel which has 2 floors. The top floor has a beautiful stone fireplace and downstairs are washrooms and a small kitchen. The Fireside Chapel will serve as our day care area and hopefully 2-4 our volunteers will sleep there as well. This year all children 6 and under will meet in the front lobby for our volunteers to escort them back and forth!
Swimming is across the road at the pool and we will have a set swimming time or you can go to the beach.
